The Crux DSW is more than the lightest aluminum gravel bike ever made. We took everything we learned from making the carbon Crux and used our patented D'Aluisio Smartweld to realize it in aluminum. We created the most capable, agile, balanced, and responsive aluminum gravel bike ever made for fast, fun, high-performance riding. And yes, it's also the lightest. Some might call it a carbon copy, but we call it the Crux DSW.

Weighing only 1399 grams*, the Crux DSW is the lightest aluminum gravel frame in the world. Combine that with our Fact12r Crux carbon fork and a performance-oriented design, and a complete Crux DSW weighs just 9.37 kg - no other aluminum gravel bike can compare.
Maximum power
More clearance means more power - that's why the Crux DSW has the same tire clearance as its carbon sibling - 47mm and up to 2.1" on a 650b wheel. Combine this with the strong and lightweight aluminum frame and the Crux DSW can take you anywhere you want.
Ultra-responsive
Responsive to the pedals. Smooth in the saddle. We used D'Aluisio Smartweld to fine-tune the aluminum properties to deliver a ride that was previously impossible without carbon and pair it with the same geometry and race-inspired fit as the carbon Crux. A longer reach provides better weight distribution for fast, confident steering, while a lower stack ensures a performance-oriented front position. With a bottom-bracket drop of 72 mm, we found the sweet spot between agile and stable.
D'Aluisio Smartweld
D'Aluisio Smartweld - or DSW - is a patented engineering process that uses hydroforming to precisely fit the tube-to-tube connections for better, stronger welds and ultimately a lighter frame that can be twice as durable as a traditional aluminum frame. Our Smartweld technique helps us create a unique one-piece down tube and bottom bracket for the Crux, saving weight and increasing responsiveness.
