1. Approximately 40 grams lighter per wheel The tire is thinner (0.6 mm) than a normal inner tube. Less rotating weight = faster acceleration and easier climbing. 2. Smoother ride / less rolling resistance The thinner rubber allows the tire to deform more easily. Tests show: up to 13% less resistance per wheel →you lose less energy while cycling. 3.
